Winter in Klínovec - SKIAREAL KLÍNOVEC

The ski courses of all difficulties are regularly maintained. The ski centre can guarantee good snow conditions thanks to a modern artificial-snow system, which can cover up to 80% of down-hill runs from the total 10,1 km at the area of 21,5 hectares. The snow system is fully automatic. There are 35 km of maintained ski tracks for cross-country skiing.

There is also a mini ski zone, which is suitable for beginners and families with small children. There is a free G ski tow for children in mini ski zone. Next services are 3 ski-schools, 2 lending office with ski equipment, 3 skiservices, 7 snack-bars and restaurants and 3 public car pakr with the capacity 500 cars gratis The ski area is also accessible from Jáchymov direction; coming from this direction you can use the car park and the K Jáchymov funicular.

Summer in Klinovec - SKIAREAL KLÍNOVEC

We offer “Cycling without troubles” summer programme that has been prepared by the Klínovec chairlift operators. The aim of the programme is to enable visitors to see the mountain area around Klínovec without having to overcome difficult rising terrain. There are 5 marked tracks; length form 10 to 20 km. The tracks will lead you the towns of Boží Dar, Loučná pod Klínovcem and Suchá village. These destinations offer beautiful view of the Klínovec area. All the tracks start at the upper LD Klínovec and always lead to some of the lower funicular stops, from which you can use the funicular to get back to Klínovec top. Transport of your bicycles is included in the fare.

At most places the tracks are solid and lead down the hill. But there are also some difficult passages to test your bike riding skills, so we strongly recommend checking your bike’s technical condition, most importantly the brakes.
